# Low Balance Notifications

Flowroute allows you to set up a low balance notification that sends you an email when your account balance reaches a certain amount. You can then add funds to your account.

Flowroute additionally offers an [auto-replenishment](/flowroute-support/docs/set-up-auto-replenishment) function, which is useful for avoiding a negative balance. Auto-replenishment parameters are user-defined, and will automatically charge your account to match the balance amount you set. A credit card is required to be on file to use this feature.

1. Log in to [Flowroute Manage](https://manage.flowroute.com/accounts/login/).
2. Click **Preferences**, and then click **Balance Management.**

1. Go to the **Low Balance Notifications** section.

> [!NOTE]
> **NOTE:** By default, low balance notification is disabled. Once the low balance notification is set, the “disabled” status changes to “enabled”.

1. In the **Low balance threshold** field, enter the dollar amount. When your balance reaches this amount, it triggers an email notification to your billing email address that your account has reached that threshold.
2. Click **Set Low Balance Threshold**.

> [!TIP]
> **BEST PRACTICE:** Set the low balance threshold below your auto-replenishment threshold. That way, if you get this notification, you will know you have to take action.

## Change or Disable Low Balance Notification

You can log back into your account at any time to set the threshold to a new limit or to disable notifications.

**To set a new threshold,** enter the new value into the **Low balance threshold** field and then click **Adjust Threshold**.

**To disable** low balance notifications, click **Disable** button.
