NOTE: This setup is only for systems on a static external IP or a Dynamic DNS style hostname.
Before you start
Before you start assigning a host-based inbound route to your DID(s) you’ll need to have at least one available route. Here is the article about how to Configure an Inbound Route with your Preferred PoP.
Primary routes
Log in to Flowroute Manage Portal, and then click DIDs.
Select the DID numbers you’d like to apply the static inbound route to.
Click Choose a DID Action, and then select Set Route. Click the “Apply Action” button
The Set Route page appears. From the Search for a route drop-down list, select the desired inbound route, and then click the Set Route button.
NOTE: The static route is applied to all of the telephone numbers you selected. If you have configured the routes correctly, your account will no longer require SIP Registration.
Failover Routes
The process is similar. Just select the Set Failover Route when choosing a DID action on the Manage your DIDs page (step #3).
